Objective requirements for modern teachers are: mastery of ICTs, creative initiative, and a desire for self-education. As experience shows, the activity of students - future teachers depends not only on their professional and methodological preparedness, but also on their competence in the field of information and computer technologies. For the study we allocated an area of self-education activity - the study of innovative means of self-education of the future teacher.
A distinctive feature of the modern student, in comparison with their peers from the beginning of the XXI century, is the possession of a computer, Internet technologies as a means of communication and information retrieval.
