According to the requirements of the Bologna process, university education should ensure the implementation of the content of higher education based on state standards and qualification requirements for a modern specialist. According to these conditions, the educational process should be carried out taking into account the possibilities of innovative learning technologies and should focus on the formation of an educated person, who will be capable of continuous updating of scientific knowledge, professional mobility and rapid adaptation to changes in a market economy. Given the current level of informatization of society, it is an undeniable fact that the treatment of teachers-innovators to the study of life, creative path of scientific figures, whose works were previously inaccessible, and the introduction of the results in the educational process of higher school physics contribute to a deeper knowledge of the scientific heritage of Ukraine, help restore and discover undeservedly forgotten names of scientists, to identify and use their achievements in the modernization of the modern national school. One of such personalities is Igor Evgenievich Tamm.
