About the Journal

Aims and Scope

Educational Dimension is a Diamond Open Access peer-reviewed journal focused on the research on education, learning, and training, and applications of theories and philosophies used in the sciences of learning and adjacent sciences. The Educational Dimension occupies contributions in all aspects of learning theories, learning technologies and tools, paradigms and models. The main problematic field of the journal is the current and future issues of modern pedagogical science: psychological and pedagogical, philosophical, and socio-cultural aspects of education, learning and training, modern theories, technologies and teaching aids, the emergence of which is determined by globalization, integration processes, social transformations, humanitarian and scientific and technological development.

Educational Dimension welcomes research papers, systematic reviews and meta-analyses that include clear research questions, a framework of analysis, and conclusions that reflect the aims of the paper.

Publication Frequency

Two volumes per year (June, December).

Journal History

The journal was founded in 2019. This journal continues title "Pedagogy of Higher and Secondary Education" (Pedagogìka viŝoï ta serednʹoï školi, ISSN 2304-4470, see journal archive).

Journal Editors-in-Chief: Olga Bondarenko (vol. 1-4) and Vita A. Hamaniuk (vol. 5-).

Since September 2020, the journal has been listed in Ukraine's Registry of Scientific Editions.

Since January 2021, the journal has been published by the Academy of Cognitive and Natural Sciences and Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University.

Since February 2023, the new Educational Dimension website is https://acnsci.org/ed

Archiving Policy

It has been ensured under the digital archiving policy of Educational Dimension that despite any accidental loss of data, the published journal content remains available to the academic community through the PKP Preservation Network, LOCKSS, and CLOCKSS Archival Systems, Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine, Index Copernicus.

The editorial policy is based on the principles of objectivity and impartiality in the selection of articles for publication, requirements for the quality of the scientific product, mandatory review of articles, collegiality in making decisions on the recommendation of the article for publication, intolerance of violations of the principles of academic integrity; accessibility and efficiency in communication with authors; compliance with copyright and related rights; compliance with the conditions prescribed in the state registration certificate; free publication for the author of the article (informational and publishing support of the publication, subject to its acceptance for publication, is carried out with the support of the Educational Dimension editorial board and at the expense of the university).

Peer-review process

The editor-in-chief evaluates each publication, and if the basic requirements are fulfilled, the text is sent for review. At least two independent reviewers evaluate each publication. At least one of the reviewers is affiliated with an institution different from the author’s country. The double-blind review process is applied, where neither the authors nor the reviewers know each other’s identities.

Open Access Policy

Educational Dimension is entirely free to both authors and readers. Every article submitted will not have any submission charges or 'Article Processing Charges'. This includes peer-reviewing, editing, publishing, maintaining, and archiving and allows immediate access to the full-text versions of the articles.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content (diamond open access) on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge, using a

Authors are entitled to deposit their original version (preprints) or the final version in institutional and/or centrally organized repositories and can make this publicly available immediately upon publication. Educational Dimension strongly encourages authors to deposit the final version instead of the preprint. This will guarantee that the definitive version is readily available to those accessing the article from such repositories and is more likely to be cited correctly (if correct citation details are given).
