Abstract

Video surveillance systems are a set of equipment and software that is used to organize video surveillance at sites, regardless of their territorial location.
Cloud infrastructure can be effectively used to scale a video surveillance system in the following dimensions:
- storing video and video analytics metadata;
- connection of new surveillance objects (e.g., retail outlets);
- implementation of new functions of metadata analysis and archive search;
-servicing a large number of users.
